Lavender
-  Lavender comes from the mint family. A wide range of varieties have been cultivated over the years. The flower spikes can be used in arrangements, either fresh or dry. The flowers can be dried and placed in pouches and used to deter moths. Lavender has many uses, most commonly in aromatherapy.

French lavender (Lavandula stoechas)

 

French lavender is an attractive plant, which grows tufts at the end of the flowerspikes. It has an incredible fragrance, which when brushed, intensifies. This lavender can be planted from seed and can also be grown from a cutting.
