Garden Projects...

I started with a few struggling perennials that turned into a beautiful wildlife garden.
Every project started with something. Join us on our journey as we guide you through our Garden Projects. Some things didn't turn out as expected, while others ended up being completely different to what was envisioned., afterall a garden is never truly finished ......

The only thing wrong with starting a garden project is that one thing leads to another. Mine first started one sunny Sunday afternoon in spring 2007. The men were watching football, and I decided to make myself a bit of a flower patch. I dug out the border, and left a sort of circular shape lawn. I only did one corner of the garden, it was the easiest bit to do, to be honest. The following week, Steve noticed that I had attempted to make a garden, yes, I did say "week" - we only visited our garden on a needs must basis. It wasn't very pleasant. I don't think he appreciated my efforts however, as a few days later I returned to find that my piece of "lawn" was now a big hole, and was the beginnings of being a sunken fire pit! The soil he had excavated became a raised wildlife and vegetable garden! I see another hole has appeared at the very top of the garden, I'm not sure as to what's happening, but watch this space! Another garden project is about to be begin ...... |
